My home is located in the city limits surrounded by rural farmland.

Caro has a fantastic Bed & Breakfast in the second block from my home.

The city is very safe with many shops on the main street.

IN HOUSE STUDIO

 

In house teaching fee is $200.00 per day.  The fee is divided among the number of students.  (I prefer 4-6 students for a more semi-private class.)  Therefore, if there are 4 students, your share of seminar expenses is $50.00 per day. 

 

Classes are normally 9AM-5PM. 

We often work many evenings on second pieces.

 

All my studies are available for purchase, as well as paints, brushes, etc.

Hand Painted Porcelains are also available.

White china can be ordered ahead of time and shipped here, mail your own or bring it from home, or purchase it here.

Firing is included in your seminar fee.

The studio has a refrigerator, microwave, tv, VCR.  The studio is very well light and is air conditioned.

No need to bring extra lighting or chair cushions.

 

A large bathroom (with shower) is located on the studio floor.

Laundry facilities are also on the studio floor.

 

GARDEN

 

Across the street from my home is an old historic garden that I have purchased.

It is on nearly a one acre parcel.

Since 1943, the garden has been adorned with romantic roses,

pansies, peonies, hollyhocks, etc.  Bring your camera!

 

LODGING

 

Bed and Breakfast lodging is double occupancy (for two students only) and is located on the second floor. 

You have your own spacious and modern private bath.

Nightly lodging is $20. per person per night.

Your breakfast, located on the main floor, is included and complete.

Special Dietary requests can be made in advance of your arrival.

Lunch can either be ordered in, can be brought from your home, or can be provided for an additional cost.

 

Individuals who come without a group and would like to join an already scheduled seminar, are welcomed. 

This makes it more affordable for all.

is 50 minutes away.

 

Bishop Airport Flint  FNT

is one hour and 10 minutes away.
